  • Exit the 183 North-Lampasas Exit and turn right on the feeder road until you arrive on N. Lamar.
  • Turn left on North Lamar, and our building is on the right.

  • Enter 183 North-Lampasas Exit ramp and exit on the Ohlen/Payton Gin exit.

Funeral Director

Jacob graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with his AAS in Funeral Service and obtained his Texas Funeral Director and Embalmer license in 2013. He has proudly been a part of Neptune Society as a Funeral Director since 2014 and looks forward to his future providing his passionate service and care for families in their time of need.

The Neptune Society Austin, TX office recently presented to Encompass Hospice. It was an in-service meeting for staff where service manager Chris Tapia was invited to speak about the Neptune Society services and process.


Neptune Society Annual Customer Appreciation BBQ

Each year, our Neptune Society Austin, TX office offers a Customer Appreciation BBQ for families served and hospice staff. This June, the Neptune Society team provided juicy burgers, chips, cookies, and tea for everyone who attended and handed out brochures to those interested in the Neptune Society Services. The Neptune Society Austin team, including Chris Tapia, Jacob Magenheimer, Donna Richard, Stephen Richard, and even little Valentina Tapia volunteered their time for this event as a thank you to the surrounding community.

American Legion Presentation

This May, Chris Tapia visited the members of the American Legion Post # 447 in Round Rock, Texas at their monthly meeting. Neptune Society of Austin provided pizza for the members as well as a Questions and Answer Session to follow. Post Commander Bobby Tate and Finance Officer Douglas Norton appreciated our time and attention in delivering this valuable information to their membership. Neptune Society looks forward to continued partnership by the membership of the American Legion.


Altus Hospice Inaugural Dove Release Memorial Service

On Saturday, April 9, 2016 Neptune Society Austin was invited to participate in Altus Hospice’s Inaugural Dove Release Memorial Service. This event was dedicated to the families that both Altus Hospice and Neptune Society cared for during 2015 and 2016. The food and refreshments were sponsored by the Neptune Society. A number of different speakers and music played a role during the service with the dove release concluding the event. The dove release was very moving and memorialized those who have passed in a unique, beautiful way.

Tree of Remembrance Gathering

Neptune Society in Austin, TX hosted its first Tree of Remembrance Gathering on Friday, December 18 from 3-5 pm at the Neptune Society office, located at 911 W Anderson Lane Ste 111 Austin, Texas 78757. The families that attended the event were very appreciative of the goodwill gesture offered and welcome the opportunity to participate again next year. We offered gift baskets, food, and refreshments during the event.
