Service Manager & Licensed Funeral Director
Born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Drexel Hill, PA, Bill has been a Licensed Funeral Director for over 35 years and considers it both an honor and a privilege to have been able to have served thousands of families in need during the course of his professional career. Bill is a 1976 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School who later went on to attend classes at Penn State University, and then received his Associate Degree in Funeral Service from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City. Bill is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who proudly, honorably, and faithfully served his country from 1977-1983, and he is a member of the Marine Corps League, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Knights of Columbus, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Bill and his wife Cathy are the proud parents of four children; Erin Elizabeth Babb (Dr. Andrew Babb), William J. Rafferty, III, Kaitlin Rose Rafferty, and Ciara Ann Rafferty, and the adoring grandparents of their precious granddaughter, Tinsley Rose Babb. In his spare time Bill enjoys spending time with his family, being active in his community, helping fellow veterans in need, and being a big fan all of the Philadelphia Sports Teams.
Office Coordinator Betty Bailey was born and raised just outside of Philadelphia in Delaware County, and except while attending Penn State in State College, PA and California College of San Diego in California, has lived her whole life within a two-mile radius of her childhood home. She has had a varied career, but whether she was working behind a desk in customer service or behind a stethoscope in health care, the common denominator has always been helping others.
Betty’s son Edgar is carrying on the family tradition at Penn State. When he manages to make it home, they enjoy attending flea markets, museums, and musical theater together. Betty also volunteers for several civic and non-profit groups and is active in local politics.
