Neptune Society thanks our veterans for their service to this great country. Veterans have honored our country with their service, and now Neptune Society wishes to honor them. Around the country, Neptune Society is celebrating Veterans Day with events and giveaways for our veterans. Check below to see what the Neptune Society location nearest to you is doing to honor local veterans.
Minneapolis, MN – Join the Neptune Society of Golden Valley, MN for two events honoring our veterans. The first celebration includes a flag ceremony, dancing, and a Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) commemoration at the Lennox Senior Center on November 6th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Swing by Neptune Society’s table for prizes, muffins, cupcakes, and fruit.
For the second event, Neptune Society is sponsoring 50 veterans to eat for free at the Veteran’s Day Buffet at the Hopkins Senior Center on November 11th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Boulder City, NV – The Neptune Society of Las Vegas, NV will be visiting a veteran convalescent hospital to attend a service planned at the home. Eagle pins attached to a card and a bag of patriotic sweets will be given to veterans to thank them for their service.
Jacksonville, FL – The Neptune Society of Jacksonville, FL and Haven Hospice will be presenting veterans with certificates in honor of their service on Tuesday, November 10th. Accompanied by SSGT Philip Greer, Neptune Society will travel to Regent’s Park and Park Ridge Nursing Facilities to present veterans with the service certificates and a small flag with refreshments.
Detroit, MI – Local veterans will be treated to a “Breakfast for Veterans” hosted by Neptune Society of Detroit, MI. For refreshments and information about Neptune Society, visit the storefront location on November 11th from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
In Denver, CO, Las Vegas, NV, Reno, NV, Kansas City, MO, Cleveland, OH, Charlotte, NC, and Louisville, KY Neptune Society will also be distributing veteran pins and other tokens of recognition to VFW, American Veterans (AmVets), hospices, and hospitals in the area.
