Neptune Society participates as a vendor of the 97th Annual Convention of the American Legion in Orlando, Florida.
Last week Neptune Society attended the American Legion Department of Florida 97th Annual Convention at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld as a corporate sponsor.
Neptune Society organized their second annual raffle for all convention attendees to participate. The grand prize was a 39-inch high definition Insignia television. At 2:30PM on June 26, Neptune Society raffled off the prize to John Gella of Post 219 in Fruitland Park, Florida.
“We’re glad to have the opportunity to participate in the convention again this year, and to bring back the raffle,” said Matthew DiGiovanni, Vice President of Marketing for Neptune Society.
In addition to the raffle, DiGiovanni and Katheryn Wilcox, Marketing Specialist, represented the Neptune Society by answering attendees’ questions and educating veterans on the end of life benefits that they may qualify for. Neptune Society also created and distributed their 10 Important Facts about your VA Burial/Cremation Benefits brochure, which allows veterans to better understand the benefits they both need and deserve.
“Our partnership with the American Legion is very important to us. It’s our responsibility to serve those who’ve served our country,” said DiGiovanni. “We’re honored to ensure our veterans receive the dignity and respect they deserve at their time of need.”
Neptune Society is a strategic partner in support of the Florida American Legion and their family of organizations. Generating over $50,000 annually for the Florida team alone and supporting multiple programs such as veterans’ burial benefits, Neptune Society assists in securing death care benefits for our veterans and their families.
