My Mother was the one that had everything set up with Russell at Neptune Society. All I had to do was call them and they would handle the rest. They contacted me when her remains were ready and ordered the death certificates. Even helped to fix a clerical error on the state’s side. Very pleasant and professional, and would definitely recommend their service’s to help in you in your time of loss.

My mother passed away in August of this year and the Neptune Society was there for us right away. She went into Hospice care (super sudden and unexpected) on a Monday morning and my brother called them on Tuesday afternoon on his drive to the airport while coming from California to Texas. Before he got on the plane the Neptune Society had everything set for when my mom passed. She died very quickly at around 11:30 pm on that same Tuesday night and we had to wait for a hospice nurse to arrive and pronounce her time of death because there wasn’t a hospice nurse present when she died. Once that was finalized all we had to do was pull out the card with their number of the Neptune Society on it and call them. They came very quickly even though it was the dead of night. No pun intended. They were so kind to us. They spoke in hushed tones out of respect for what had happened, explaining everything they were going to do to my mother as far as wrapping her and transferring her to the gurney before they ever did anything. Then, when they had moved her and wrapped her for transportation they laid a single yellow Rose on the bed where she had been. It was like they were leaving what they took. A rose for a rose. It was beautiful. The only thing we had to do afterward was to go the next day to the Neptune Society in Austin and sign some paperwork (I’m assuming because nothing had been signed before my mom had died. Remember everything happened super quick) and bring a dress we wanted her cremated in, to them. They explained to us how long (days) it would take for the cremation to occur and why it would take that long and asked how many bags of ashed we wanted. They talked to us about urns and even told us we could buy them someplace else if we found them cheaper within our budget saying if we did buy them elsewhere we could bring them back to them and they would insert the ashes into the urns for us. They were very NON-INTRUSIVE about trying to sell us something. We really appreciated that very much. They called when the cremation was about to begin and again when it was over and then called again when the ashes were ready to be picked up. We felt very well taken care of and honestly couldn’t have asked for better treatment of not only us but also our mother. They were so awesome that us kids decided we were going to be cremated as well and go through the Neptune Society to make our plans. We want our families to be at peace when we pass and we all feel like the Neptune Society really does a great job at this. The reason my brother called the Neptune Society in the first place for my mom was that my dad had died 10 years prior and had done his cremation arrangements through the Neptune Society and they made it very easy on my mom. There was a tiny hiccup with his ashes and how they returned them to us (kind of bags his ashes were in) but it was nothing that would keep us from using them again. We highly recommend them!!

My mom set everything up with Neptune Society. So when she passed away, she had already taken care of all the arrangements. Their service was very thoughtful and very respectful. Their reps were also great, very helpful, and very accommodating.

When my Aunt passed away and we had to go through Neptune I was a little worried after reading all of the reviews.
I was very surprised at how well they handled everything. Joan was a pleasure to deal with, very quick at responding and very helpful. When we picked up my Aunts ashes we had mentioned we planned on separating some and so she did that for us!

Please accept my thanks for helping me at the time of my mother’s death. Dorothy Griffen had pre-arrangement with your organization, and Katrina was an exceptional representative. She was kind, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. Her sincere approach with me, a stranger, was reassuring and comforting.

On the morning of my mother’s death, the respectful care with which her body was removed from the hospital and placed into the ambulance was also exceptional. Every effort was made to respect the death experience, including care for me as I accompanied her body to the vehicle.

When things settle down, I will contact your organization to make my own pre-arrangements.

Thank you for helping me through a sad and lonely time.

Recently I became a member of the Neptune Society. After checking out a few places I decided that Neptune was the place for me for pre-arrangements. When I phoned in for information I spoke with Kelly ** from the Tucson, AZ, office. She was friendly, caring, helpful and she offered to come to my home to introduce me to Neptune. She was thorough in her presentation and gave me plenty of time to ask the questions I wanted to have answers for. For me, it is important that I have the relocation plan that Neptune offers. As I was told, my member cards arrived in the mail within a couple of weeks as well as the beautiful, well-made box for the remains. I am happy I have made this decision and pleased to have it taken care of so my family will not have to add this to their to-do list upon my passing.

I can’t say anything but good things about Neptune. When my husband died, they were there right away. They treated his body reverently, got him ready for transport, and then gave me time with him to say good-bye. They made all of the arrangements for the cremains, ordered an honor guard for the memorial services, and treated me and my family with the greatest respect and sympathy. I recommend Neptune to anyone who is considering cremation. These people are professionals.
