My mother recently entered hospice and I did not have a plan in place for cremation services. My wife shared that Neptune Society helped when her father passed, so I reached out to them. I had a brief discussion with them and planned to come back another time. Very soon after the visit, my mother passed and I needed to act quickly. The moment I called back to Neptune Society and began to work with Jason Costin, I was given amazingly quick, perfect and professional service.
Jason was so professional and prompt, it seemed like we had a relationship and plan already in place. He was incredibly patient and kind–especially at a moment of great loss. He made the entire process so simple and seamless. There were no hidden charges, complicated issues, or added work and responsibility on my part. Jason took care of everything and made it so much less taxing and burdensome. I was able to give my full attention to my family, which was crucial.

My husband and I contracted with you a few years ago to handle our cremation, etc.
On April 24, 2017, my husband’s brother, who was living with us, passed away unexpectedly in our home. I called Neptune and provided them with our situation and advised them that we had no arrangements for his brother. Asked Neptune if they could be here immediately and they were here within 1.5 hours, calling us with the anticipated ETA. I have to admit I was somewhat snippy with the sales contact and he continued to be very helpful and kind. They handled speaking to someone re: official doctor sign off, death certificate, etc. No paperwork/money transactions were discussed or requested during this very sad time for all of us. Two very nice gentlemen arrived to remove Lance’s body. All handled professional, low key, gentle and polite. Keith Johnson, the sales representative, called later to arrange an appointment for paperwork/details on the following day. It was simply the nicest, easiest, caring, kind of last minute arrangement we could ask for. Neptune made the entire family at ease during such a difficult/sad time. I constantly recommend Neptune Society and will continue to do so. Can’t thank them enough!

During a very sad time in our lives, Neptune Society was there every step of the way. We made one phone call. The Gentlemen that arrived, we dressed professionally in suits and ties and were so respectful and kind. Jim Rea also set up the service at The Great Lakes National Cemetery for my father. My parents got a cremation contract with you over 20 years ago. Then my mother, Anne Rader, died in April and I waited with some trepidation for the bills to arrive from your company because of what I’d read online and in articles about cremation contracts. These articles said that even though a contract was paid for there were charges not included that would have to be paid for by the family. I was surprised and delighted to find that this didn’t happen with your company and I posted the information on YELP.

I also want to tell you that your Louisville manager and the woman who picked up my mother from the nursing home were very kind and efficient. Mr. Trey Hayes was always quick to answer my emails and was as sensitive as anyone can be. Everything was done in a timely manner through email and overnight mailings as we are a family scattered over several states. This state requires all family members to sign off before cremation. Something we didn’t even know.

I will be happy to recommend your company to anyone looking for cremation contracts. Thank you for everything your company did for us at this difficult time.

I was very impressed with the entire staff at Neptune Society! Chris came to my home to discuss the entire process and he could not have been more professional and polite. He listened attentively to my care giving role for the past 22 yrs and how losing my father at 92 was difficult but also a blessing. Both Jessica and Sheila were wonderful. They phoned me and emailed me to keep me abreast of the entire process. The urn was delivered to the cemetery right on schedule for the ceremony. The cost was reasonable and I appreciated the fact that the staff did not push me to purchase other items offered.
