Melissa and family, just read of Montys death. I am so sorry for you and your family. He was a great friend and a wonderful person. I am very sad to read of his passing. We had such great fun fun at work, and he was a help to me when I needed rides to eye doctors. I enjoyed his humor and smile and his tales of Alaska and life in aviation. His dogs were such a joy to him, also.  i treasure the time I was able to share with him and the times I was able to be with you both. I pray for your recovery from grief as you move on.

Monty was a light in the world, always sharing his enthusiasm and joy with everyone he know.  I have such wonderful memories of sharing the studio with him.  We always had such wonderful conversations about art and life.   It was so fun being there to see his love of sculpture grow and his talent unfold.

Sending you all much love. I know you'll miss him being here with you. I'll definitely miss seeing his smiling face and feeling his warmth and joy.

Very sad to hear of Monty's passing. Monty was a friend and I will always cherish the time we shared a studio space together and would talk shop. He will always be in my heart and thoughts as a gentle man with a big heart, a talented sculptor and someone who would always greet people with a big smile. A true gem of a soul, will miss you greatly, Monty! Rip my brother.
