

Susan had a spirit of independence and determination, and remained a beacon of kindness and strength during her battle with cancer.
Susan was quick-witted and spirited; she had the unique ability to combine her dry humor with incredible insight and empathy. Intelligent and curious, Susan loved engaging everyone around her on topics as varied as history, world events, and of course, her favorite trash TV.
Susan was an excellent storyteller and avid reader, which lended to her talent as a mystery novelist.
Susan was a loving mother and grandmother, and a dear friend to many. Susan is survived by daughter Evin Law and grandchildren Tristan Brooks, Marian Law and Josie Law, and many other people who cared for her. She is preceded in death by spouse Donald Cooper, parents Edythe and George Rogers, and brother Frank Rogers.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, May 6 at 2 pm, Zilker Botanical Gardens Auditorium, 2220 Barton Springs Rd Austin, Texas 78746
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society
