Louis Westly Eckhart, Jr.

Louis “Bud” Wesley Eckhart was the son of the late, Louis Westley Eckhart Sr., and Minnie Reimscheider; brother of, Elizabeth Chalk, the late Winifred Stedding, and the late Albert Eckhart.

He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and resided there for 67 years. Louis and Janet moved to Nokomis, Florida in 1997. Professionally, He was a maintenance mechanic for General Motors and retired in 1993.

Louis is survived by wife, Janet Greenstreet Eckhart; children, Louis W. Eckhart III and Judith D. Eckhart Brown; grandchildren, Louis W. Eckhart IV, Melanie Gladfelter, Ashleigh Brown and Lauren Brown; as well as three great-grandchildren.

Louis loved life and he loved spending time with his family. He took great pride in his home and enjoyed golfing.

A Celebration of Life for Louis will be held at a later date.
