

Adele Renee Larson, age 83, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 26, 2024. Adele was born in Thief River Falls, MN. She was born on August 22, 1940, in Thief River Falls, MN, to Ingvald and Irene Hanson. Adele graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1958 and then attended Lutheran Bible Institute.
Adele married Gary Larson on August 27, 1960, at First English Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, MN. Together, they lovingly raised three children. Adele dedicated herself to homemaking for many years before working at Hallmark and Bethel University.
Adele was a woman of many talents. She found joy in sewing, quilting, crocheting, and baking, often sharing her creations with family and friends. Her warm hospitality extended to hosting gatherings and family holidays, with a special fondness for Christmas celebrations where she weaved her Norwegian heritage into decorations and baking, adding an extra layer of warmth and tradition. Adele had a beautiful voice and sang in numerous ensembles at her church. Above all, Adele's faith in the Lord Jesus was steadfast, and she felt deeply blessed to witness generations of her family place their faith in God.
Adele is survived by her husband, Gary; her children: Lori (Neil) Lundgren, Thomas (Kay) Larson, and Stephen (Marisa) Larson; her grandchildren: Brian (Kelsey), Paul (Laura), Jason (Hannah), Craig (Amelia), Dionne (Eric), Isaac (Mary), Gabriella, Meadow, Kateri, Alexandra, Edwin, Louie, George, Jiner, and Solomon; her great-grandchildren: Alek, Adele, Leif, Christian, Claire, Rachel, Luke, Caleb, Adelyn, Sofia, Bjorn, Liv, Violet, Declan, Archer, and Oliver; her siblings: Diane Sculthorp and Terri (Gary) Pattison; and sister-in-law: Margaret Hanson.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Ingvald and Irene; her stillborn son: Timothy Mark; her siblings: Allen Hanson and Sharon Landberg; and her brothers-in-law: James Sculthorp and David Landberg.
A celebration of Adele's life will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Eagle Brook Church in White Bear Lake, MN. Visitation will be held prior, starting at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eagle Brook Church or Bethel University.
