Joyce Veloris Walberg was born February 1, 1952, to Carl and Harriet (Muehring) Walberg in Minneapolis. She married Milan “Mike” Tessmer on October 2, 1971, and they had three beautiful daughters together. They later divorced, and Joyce met her significant other Glenn Davidson.
Joyce loved to go dancing and listen to music. She was an avid collector of cardinal and angel. She was very artistic and loved to cross-stitch and paint pictures on dish towels, decorate cakes, and make mint candies for special occasions.
In October of 2007, Joyce was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. A year later, they found a brain tumor. Joyce suffered short-term memory loss after that surgery, and she was in remission until she passed. In 2019, she started suffering with small TIA strokes which led her to her not having much strength in her legs or arms. In 2021, she moved to Good Samaritan Society in Howard Lake where she was taken care of by the amazing staff.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Ronald Karie.
