Valerie graduated from Suffolk Community College with a Bachelor’s Degree. She worked as a Telemarketer in Publications prior to her retirement. She enjoyed writing mysteries, singing and going out to eat.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gladys and Stanley Diamond.
She is survived by her brother; Michael Diamond, her sister; Alisa Diamond and her sister-in-law; Linda Diamond, as well as her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Valerie loved to talk with people and sing. She had a beautiful voice. She liked her time alone but not to be alone. She never wanted to deprive herself of her favorite thing to eat, chocolate. She did it her way. I hope you’re having a chocolate feast. We love you and you will be greatly missed with all your odysseys that made you, you.
The family would like to thank Community Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.neptunesociety.com/location/jacksonville-cremation for the Diamond family.
