Theresa Ann Hankins Casey

She was born January 12, 1939, in New Orleans, LA to the late William J Hankins and the late Edna Hankins. Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 60 years, Vincent Anthony “Bay” Casey.

She was the devoted Mother of Mark Casey (Teresa), Terri Casey (Jody) and Brett Casey (Jeanine). Theresa was the proud Grandmother of Katherine Ruiz (Quinn), Ryan Casey, Chad Casey, Sean Casey, Connor Casey, Kevin Casey and the late Shane Casey; Great Grandmother of 6 granddaughters, Analeigh, Corinne and Hollyn Casey, Elizabeth and Stella Ruiz and Ruby Casey. She was the sister of the late Edna Mae Tillman (late Bruce), William Hankins Jr (late Ann), Joan Eckholdt (late Bernard Joseph) and Claudette Villalobos (late Paul). Theresa is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell since 2005. Theresa was an educator with St Leo The Great Catholic School for 21 years. She spent her life caring for her family and she loved family gatherings and getting together for the holidays. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Slidell, LA, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 1 pm with visitation from 11am until Mass time. An online guest book is available at www.neptunesociety.con/location/new-orleans-cremation.
