

Joe Toby Baca Jr. passed away 27 December, 2018. He was born in 1937 in Wyoming and raised mostly in the mountains of Utah. He was the son of a coal miner father and a homemaker mother. Joe grew up at a time before seat belts, bike helmets and sunblock.
Joe joined the U.S. Air Force in 1955 for 10 years. Traveled all over Europe on a motorcycle while in the service. After Joe left the Air Force , he moved to the Los Angeles area where he found work as a machinist. About 13 years later, he relocated to Utah then moved to the Las Vegas area and worked at air conditioning construction for the next 38 years.
Joe loved being out in nature, hiking, fishing, bird watching, Valley of Fire, and watching the light change over the Grand Canyon. He liked his coffee hot and black, tuna sandwiches , and Tabasco on his eggs.
Joe enjoyed many interests and hobbies. He loved playing golf, leather work, metal work, reading, crossword puzzles and traveling with his wife.
Joe is survived by his wife, son, daughter, and grandchildren.
