John Douglas Zaramba

John Douglas Zaramba, age 79, of Holiday, FL (formerly of Ehrenfeld, PA), passed away on October 22, 2026. Born July 14, 1947, in Ehrenfeld, PA, he was the son of the late John Joseph Zaramba and Josephine (Witek) Zaramba.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Mock) Zaramba; his brother Gary (married to Cathy); his children Kristy and John Michael (married to Jenna); stepchildren Ashley and Chad; grandchildren Ashley, Leah, Kaitlyn, John Tyler, Christopher, Ethan, Marina, and Mikaela; great-grandchildren Alaina, Lucas, Noah, and Joshua; nieces and nephews, Leanne and Jared.

John proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked 17 years for Bethlehem Mining Corp. before spending 20 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Johnstown. A devout Christian, he lived out his faith in practical ways: through decades of hard work, a strong sense of responsibility, and unwavering love for his family and friends.

In keeping with John’s wishes, no services will be held. He simply asked that friends and family raise a cup of coffee (or whatever you like to drink) in his honor and remember the good times. John’s family takes comfort in knowing he is at peace and that his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
