Bob lived a long, amazing life, growing up in Glenside, Pennsylvania, then enlisting in the Air Force, where he was a code breaker for the United States military and government for several years. After his service, he began a long career building and programming software, the bulk being for the military and the U.S. government. He always loved computers and continued even through retirement, subcontracting with General Electric and CVS in Texas.
He spent the last 10 years of his life enjoying what he loved, which was reading, walking, and watching sports. Bob was a huge Philadelphia sports fan, with the Phillies and Eagles being his favorites.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ruth Schuster; by his first wife, Caroline Schuster; and by his third wife, Lynne Morgan Schuster. He is survived by his son, Bob Schuster, and daughter-in-law, Kathy Schuster; stepdaughter, Vanessa Morgan; his wife, Jill McMakin; and stepdaughters, Darby McMakin and Daphne Adams.
He loved animals, especially his pets, and he highly regarded his daughter-in-law Kathy’s career. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a national/local pet organization or a wildlife rehabilitation organization in honor of his memory; it is something he would have certainly loved. Bob will be greatly missed.
