

Joyce Aline Beckendorff Baker passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the age of 80. She was born on July 11, 1942, in Waller, Texas, to Howard Ernest Beckendorff and Bertha Jeanette Matzke Beckendorff.
Joyce grew up and lived most of her life in the greater Katy area, and resided in Boerne, Texas the last several years. She was a loving and caring woman of faith, helping others any way she could.
Joyce’s true love was her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. Joyce was instrumental in helping rear some of her grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Howard E. and B. “Jeannette” Beckendorff, her twin sister Loyce Eileen Reese, sister Doris Fay Stanberry, brother Lynn Alton Beckendorff, grandsons Brandon Dwayne Caffey & Anthony Wayne Caffey.
Joyce is survived by her son Craig & wife Kelly Baker, daughters Gayla Clements & Brenda Baker & husband Rudy Hernandez, granddaughters Morgan & husband Brandon Kinsel, Megan Hernandez, Brooke & husband Trevor Baham, & Jaime Baker, grandsons Branson Hernandez & Thomas Baker & his fiancé Kaylee Heenan, great-grandsons Maddox & Baker Baham, brother-in-law A.B. “Buddy” Stanberry, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 11:00am at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 1350 N. Mason Rd Katy, Tx. 77450. Refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall immediately after.
