Of Frankenmuth, age 68, entered eternal life on October 12, 2022 after a long and valiant fight with ALS. She is survived by her brother Charles C. (Vicki) Haskin and half-brother Richard R. (Nancy) Maxwell as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles D. and Dorothy V. and half-sister Gladys "Gay" Schoenknecht. Nancy was born on March 12, 1954 in Highland Park, Ml. She grew up in Southfield, Ml., attending John Grace Elementary, Glenn W. Levey Junior High and Southfield High School. After graduation, she went on to study Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. Earning her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1994, Dr. Nancy Haskin went on to establish her first practice, where she remained, in Frankenmuth, Michigan. There, she not only treated patients from Frankenmuth and the surrounding area, but also joined many civic organizations and clubs where she was heavily involved with community enrichment opportunities. One such event Dr. Haskin really enjoyed setting up was the annual Fahrrad Tour Bike race in Frankenmuth, MI. Dr. Nancy Haskin wished to thank all of her Frankenmuth family, friends, patients and neighbors for being in her life. Services will be held at the Frankenmuth United Methodist Church, 346 E Vates St, Frankenmuth, Ml 48734 on October 28th 2022 at 10:00 am for visitation and an 11:00 am "Celebration of Life" service, with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ALS Association or to the Frankenmuth United Methodist Church, both organizations Dr. Nancy Haskin felt strongly about. Interment will be at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan in a private ceremony at a later date.
