

Jeffrey Alan Robinson, PhD., beloved husband and best friend of Barbara Robinson (nee Milles); best Dad of Matthew, Anabel (Josh) and Michael (Jessica); devoted Papa to Millie, J.J., Harley, Reese, Kaylee, Danny, and Jace. He was the beloved son of the late Lewis and Evelyn Robinson; dear brother to David (Marcia) and Douglas (the late Bonnie); passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 74. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and grew up in Lombard, Illinois.
Jeffrey graduated with a B.A. in Physics, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an MBA, and a PhD. in Information Systems. He also had postgraduate certificates in Computer Forensics, a Project Management Certificate (PMP) and is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He taught graduate level courses at the University of Phoenix and Purdue University for thirty years in Business and Technology.
He worked as a device physicist in semi-conductor manufacturing facilities. He was also an expert in Manufacturing Execution Systems, computer automation, and cybersecurity. As a technologist for Motorola he travelled the world, including Italy, France, Scotland, Russia, China, India, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Malaysia, Romania, Poland, Hungary, and Saudi Arabia.
He also worked for Rockwell International, Hughes Aircraft, Medtronics, American Express, and the State of Arizona. He holds three software patents, has written dozens of technical articles and papers, and also a book on “Six Sigma, Software Quality Improvement” featuring twenty-three case studies.
Jeff served as an Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps serving as a Naval Flight Officer, who flew F-4 Phantom Jets. He was also an Air Traffic Controller at Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Base in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He was the Squadron Legal Officer.
He was actively involved in the Roman Catholic Church as a Lay Carmelite, lector, and hospital chaplain. He was professed into the Lay Carmelite Order of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on July 12, 1998.
He volunteered for ten years as a board member for the adoption agency, Building Arizona Families, and as a foster for Sun Cities 4 Paws Cat Rescue.
After he retired, Jeffrey founded UNTOLD TALES.COM. He was the editor and principal writer of the Untold Tales Podcast, a collection of short stories of the highest caliber based on the first in a set of three published science fiction anthologies. Jeff grew up loving to read science fiction and carried this passion throughout his life. He also published many science fiction books available on Amazon, including: The Matriarch, Deadly Vantage, Untold Tales (Volumes 1-4), A Misfortune of Stars, A Temptation of Stars, Darker Days, The Final Battle, and many more.
Jeff’s family would like to thank the Intensive Care Staff at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days.
