

Robert was born on August 16, 1957, in Anaheim, California, to Robert and Barbara Risse. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Risse.
A dedicated educator, Bob spent his career as a high school teacher, where he touched the lives of countless students through his commitment to learning and his love of history. Bob was also a philosophical poet, exploring deep questions about life, meaning, and human experience.” Education was not only his profession but his lifelong passion. Even in retirement, Bob remained curious and engaged, spending his time reading, studying history, and enjoying computer gaming.
Above all else, Bob loved his family and took great pride in his relationships with them. He will be remembered for his intelligence, quiet dedication, and deep appreciation for knowledge.
Robert is survived by his siblings: Patti Foster Risse, Raymond Risse, Paula Dilley, Fred Risse, Michael Risse, and David Risse.
At this time, no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to an educational institution of the donor’s choice, reflecting Bob’s lifelong devotion to education.
