As a young man, he spent several years in the army, was stationed in Germany and was able to see Europe. He loved to travel. Later in life, he worked for United artist theaters, and brought American cinema to Thailand. He spent over 10 years traveling through Thailand he really loved it there and had many adventures. He retired in Arizona. He was preceded in death by his father Leon Noble, Farris and, His mother, Alice, Virginia, Houston.
He is survived by his brother Lonnie Farris, and his two daughters Laura and Christi Farris.
