Michelle Rae Dempsey

Michelle was born on March 1, 1969, in Gresham, OR, along with her twin brother, Michael. Michelle grew up in Gresham and attended Barlow High School and attained an Associates Degree in Hospitality and Tourism at Mt. Hood Community College. She was an active parishioner at St. Henry’s Catholic Church throughout her life.

She was married in November 1991 to Thomas Dempsey and they were blessed with two children, Jessica and Joshua. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and volunteered at St. Henry’s and the local Social Services Center. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She had a wonderful light-hearted sense of humor and loved to laugh and visit with friends and family. She was also a very talented painter and created numerous wonderful pieces of art for her home, family and friends.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Thomas, her daughter, Jessica and son, Joshua; her parents, Raymond and JoAnn Normand, her brothers Brad Normand (and Michele Ann) and Rodney Normand (and April). She is predeceased by her twin brother, Michael and younger brother, Jason.

The memorial service will be at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Gresham, OR at 11:00AM on Friday, July 22, 2022.
