Our Team

Service Manager
Mike Neff, a resident of the nearby Pendleton, Indiana community, joins the Neptune Society with over 21 years of experience in the funeral profession. He is originally from Palestine, Illinois, where he started working at the local funeral home right after high school and continued throughout college. Mike is a graduate of Vincennes University, where he studied mortuary science, and was active in the Sigma Phi Sigma funeral service fraternity. He also graduated from Lincoln Trail College and graduated with his baccalaureate degree from Indiana University. Mike is a member of the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, and is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP). Throughout his career, Mike has been involved in many aspects of the funeral and cemetery industry, including funeral directing, embalming, operations, sales, and cemetery management. He also served as an adjunct instructor in the mortuary science department at a local community college. Mike received his designation as a Certified Celebrant from Insight Institute. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in both Indiana and Illinois. Mike is proud to be a member of the Neptune Society family. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, spending time with friends, traveling to favorite places, which include Tennessee and Florida, listening to, studying and collecting classic country music, and reading. He and his family are also active members of Fall Creek Christian Church, where he serves as a deacon.

For veterans in Indianapolis, Neptune Society is sponsoring coffee, fresh fruit, and granola bars Friday July 1st from 8:00am to 11:00am. Neptune Society Indianapolis is proud to honor the veterans in its community and welcomes veterans and their families to celebrate with them at the Richard L. Roudebush V.A. Medical Center located at 1481 W 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
Neptune Society Indianapolis, IN - Attends 2 Day Statewide Annual IAHHC
This May, Jason Costin (Location Manager) and Wilhelmina Sims (Regional Director) represented Neptune Society Indianapolis, IN at the Indianapolis Association for Home & Hospice Care (IAHHC) Convention. Together, Jason and Wilhelmina communicated and educated hospice nurses, home health nurses, social workers, directors, and facility owners about Neptune Society and the value of our services. The event lasted two days, and Neptune Society contributed by hosting a raffle and an informational booth. Neptune Society also donated several teddy bears to the hospice nurses. The bears donated will in turn be given to comfort small children that may be losing a loved one.
